DS3032 Automated Response

Hello, after I emailed DS3032 to NVC (following the wiki format) I received this automated response from NVC. Is this normal? Is there a need to send again the DS3032 email or just wait now for them to accept the DS3032 Choice of Agent. Thanks!

Please be advised that, as of April 4th, 2008, our office revised our

guidelines for communication between the National Visa Center and the

public. We are now required to verify case specific information each

time we receive an inquiry.

According to U.S. law, the National Visa Center is only permitted to

discuss details of a visa case with authorized representatives and when

provided with all of the following information:

* NVC case number or CIS receipt number

* Petitioner's name and date of birth

* Beneficiary's name and date of birth

* Your full name

If you are the legal representative, and your G-28, Notice of Entry of

Appearance as Attorney or Representative, is not on file at the NVC,

please include a copy of your signed G-28 showing that you are the legal

representative as well as the following information:

* NVC case number or CIS receipt number

* Petitioner's name and date of birth or Beneficiary's name and

date of birth

* Attorney's law firm name

* Attorney's law firm address

* Your full name

If you are corresponding regarding an I-140 petition you must provide

the following information:

* NVC case number or CIS receipt number

* Name of the petitioning company

* Beneficiary's name and date of birth

* Your full name

If you are the petitioner, principal applicant or legal representative,

please notify the National Visa Center with any changes to your mailing

address, email address or phone numbers.

Please include this required information on all future inquiries

directed to the NVC. If this information has not been submitted with

your inquiry it will be requested. Please do not respond to this

inquiry.

yes it is normal. wait for 9 days before they email u back regarding the status of ur choice of agent... much faster if u call nvc and talk to an operator

I am still waiting for the acceptance of the emailed DS-3032 that was originally sent on 7/4/08 and sent again on 7/16/08 with an auto response right after. It can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks for them to accept it. Good luck.

Yes you might try again because if you did not receive an autoresponse it means that they have not received it. You both can try from each of your email addresses to see if that works. Good luck.

Jen- yahoo email addresses usually suck. if you have a work email try that as they are usually better...mayb try creating a gmail account and then trying it...or have ur husband try...the email shud really be coming from him. Good Luck!

UPDATE: created GMAIL account for him. got an automated response in like 2 seconds! yahoo sucks!

I tried the parallel route:

1) My wife and myself sent in the choice of agent selection by email Tuesday and Wednesday last week as soon as we heard the DS-3032 had been generated.

2) Also on Wednesday, my wife mailed the DS-3032 directly from the Philippines by express mail (i.e. UPS)

Today IVC states that they received the package yesterday (i.e. the one from the Philippines): this occurred before they ever responded to the email(s), so express mail definitely seems to be the fastest route with my case, even with the DS-3032 being shipped from abroad. I guess it takes them more time to sift through the emails.

timeline

July 14: I-130 and I29F approved

July 26: NVC acknowledges receipt of both I-130 and I-129F

July 28: DS-3032 and AOS fee bill generated (although dated 2 days earlier when I received the snail mail)

July 29: mailed off $70 AOS fee

July 30: spouse mailed of DS-3032 by express email (UPS) from Philippines

August 4: DS-3032 hard copy received from Philippines

August 4: AOS fee bill received by NVC (although wrong date was on James' short cut generated bill!)
