DOS said Ahmed's visa was issued on the 17th but not printed.

So we think it's almost over.

How long does it take now until they mail it through DHL?

Also, he was called last week and asked some questions and told his fingerprints showed he was a criminal.

He had to go back in for more fingerprints and bring money.

Then, when he got to the Embassy, he saw the consular who interviewed him on Feb. 11th and she said they weren't necessary and congratulations!

Anybody ever heard of that before?

What an ordeal!

I will be really excited once he has the visa in hand.

12/21/08 - ceremonial wedding

10/9/10 - Sent I-751 and started the fresh hell that is ROC

10/14/10 - NOA1 for ROC

10/29/10 - received appointment for Biometrics

11/22/10 - Biometrics appointment

Currently: Living blissfully with my Essex lad...

What wonderful news in the end!! CONGRATULATIONS!! to you both, and as far as DHL you can go on the DHL website to track the status of the delivery of his Visa all you need is the tracking number on his DHL reciept that he should have recieved at his interview once he paid for the delivery of his Visa. My love's Visa was printed on May 27th and he recieved it on June 3rd. By the way here is the DHL website for you www.dhltracking.com. I wish you both all the best!!!!

7/19/2006----VSC recieved RFE (IMBRA).

8/18/2006----NOA2!!!!!! THANK YOU GOD!!!!

8/18/2006----VSC sent our petition to NVC.

8/19/2006----touched

8/22/2006----NVC recieved our petition.

8/23/2006----NVC sent our petition to Cairo Embassy.

8/25/2006----Recieved NOA2 Approval letter in the mail.

8/28/2006----Recieved NVC letter with new case number.

8/31/2006----Cairo Embassy recieved our petition.

9/24/2006----I emailed the Embassy reguarding my fiance's packet 3.

10/17/2006--Cairo sent packet 3 for the second time to my fiance. First one was never recieved.

10/19/2006--Packet 3 recieved.

12/20/2006--Packet 3 sent.

12/21/2006--Cairo Embassy recieved packet 3.

2/21/2007---Packet 4 recieved.

3/12/2007---Interview (He Passed)!

3/12/2007---Administrative Processing begins.............God please help me get through this!

7/17/2007---Our 2 Year Anniversay!!!

10/23/2007--7 months and 2 weeks of A/P and still waiting..........God help me!

4/22/2008---2nd Interview ( keep us in your prayers)

4/22/2008--He was approved for the Visa 2-3 weeks until he recieves it in the mail lets hope so!!

6/03/2008--VISA IN HAND! Thank you god!

7/03/2008--Our Wedding Day!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

How long from issuing until printing???

If it took a week to get after printing..........we are probably at least another week out I guess?????

Hope nothing happens..........

DHL keeps showing nothing now...........like it disappeared.

Wonderful News Lynn....I am praying the next post says visa in hand and it is soon. You have had such an ordeal with all of this waiting. I will be so excited for you when he actually has the visa in hand. I feel like I am waiting with you especially since Ahmed and Ahmed had their interviews on the same day. I really expected they would be entering the US around the same time. My prayers are with you even though I do not visit as often as I did before. Best Wishes and lots of Hugs to help you through it all.
