There are a bunch of them in the Phoenix area. I remember when one opened in North Scottsdale (northeast of Phoenix, upscale 'hood) in about 2000, it was so popular that cops had to control the traffic through the drive-thru for weeks. I think it may have been the first one in AZ, or one of two that opened at the same time. It's pretty good, though!

By the way, I hope it cools down a bit for the Warped Tour's Phoenix date! It's been really hot this week. June is the worst month here, I think. It's supposed to be 111 tomorrow. (kvetch, kvetch, kvetch)

I agree! Their burger and fries are excellent though. The buns on the burgers are toasted and the fries are natural cut. Man that was good!

When I was a kid we used to go to a drive in restaurant. The food is like it was there. If you like burgers and fries and come to one of these States you need to try them out.

In-N-Out Burgers are great!

Too bad it's a west-coast thing. :(

Too true.

The east-coast has White Castle, which kinda compensates...

I'm still trying to figure out how Harold and Kumar had such a hard time finding a branch in NJ.

NPH should be the spokesman for White Castle ;)

In-N-Out Burger = WIN

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

That's one thing I miss about Cali.....eveytime I visit I have to have an in and out burger....and Cupid's hot dog....

I wish they'd come to Oregon

"We are the real countries,

Not the boundaries drawn on maps,

With the names of powerful men.

That's all I've wanted -

To walk in such a place with you,

On an earth without maps."

I haven't seen that movie but I have watched that scene and it is hilarious!

I don't like White Castle as much as In -N- Out. I think the fries are real good, but it's all a matter of what you like I guess.

I don't know how this company has manages to stay regional. It seems like they would be expanding east. They blow the traditional burger joints out of the water.
