i have filled my I-130 in March 2008 and got NOA 10 days after i submitted my petition. i wanted to submit the I129f for K3 but my husband insisted that the I130 was enough now he is desperate i'm going crazy too! as wee see that K3 are getting approved faster so we decided to add the I129f to our petition. you guys think we still ok to do this?

If you don't mind spending the additional fund later, I don't see why it would be a bad idea to go to a K-3 router. At least you now have two options to work with. I submitted my I-130 in early December, didn't get the NOA1 until February so I can send the receipt notice with my I-129F. I'm still waiting for approval on both, but at least there are two options. All I care about at this point is being able to get my wife here and being with her as soon as possible. Just my thought.

Marriage : 2007-11-24

I-130 Sent : 2007-12-10

I-130 NOA1 : 2008-02-04

I-129F Sent : 2008-02-08

I-129F NOA1 : 2008-02-11

07/11/2008 - Approved for both I-129F and I-130 (e-mail)!!!!!!!

I think it should be OK. Look at my timeline. I submitted I-130 in early March and then submitted I-129F a month and half later. My I-129F was touched in late May, but haven't gotten anything yet. I am seriously hoping that K3 will speed the approval process up a bit. The last and only time I spoke to an immigration office, she told me that both applications are tied together.

The question is....what processing date applies for cases like ours. July 30, 2007 or December 2007?
