36. has anyone ever filed an immigrant visa petition on your behalf?

i answered YES and wrote FIANCE.

but i saw the sample here at vj that it should be NO.

i though this current k-1 petition would mean yes. too bad i didnt double check before i sent it. would that be a problem? i know i cant change it once submitted. just wanted to hear from you.

Well, worse case scenario will be, Consular Officer will want to know who and cause a bit delay issuing you a visa? see, #36 is related to #35 and so, it depends how you answer #35 in my view...

you can always fill it out again online and print it again :) no worries :) the data you entered online wont go to your files yet. when u go to the embassy for ur interview, they will take the hard copies of your forms and scan them. that way, it wont be a hassle for them to type all the data by themselves.

i made several mistakes on my forms before, and i just reprinted them again and again..of course you will get different bar codes each time. be sure to print the page with the barcodes.

If it comes up on the interview, you can just say so, "it's a mistaken"... Most likely it'll not come up during the interview. I assumed you put your name on it, right in #36 question?

Good luck... little thing means a little delay that's all.

Agree with shinning angel, you can edit and reprint again and again and it will only hurt your ink and paper supply. Just make sure you print out all 3 pages of DS156 para uniform yong code nya ha.

Good luck and God bless, lapit na interview mo, I am sure you will do great.
