We were married in oct 07 in Indonesia .I filed I-130 and the 325 and 825 in Jan 08 all these were submitted at same time as the book greencard through marriage recommended. I received 1st NOA dated Jan 31 08. We have received nothing since .I noticed the dates for the 2 nd NOA usually around 2 months for most apps .I call my representative # the person I spoke to sounds like NVC recording saying that Vermont center just now process applications from last July and Avg. wait time 11 months. And nothing can be done .Also referring to Indonesia as Philippines needs geography course (Well if that’s case why does she need job repeating what’s on website anyway?)Plus if so many operators at NVC in Vermont and recording says they know nothing more than what’s been said why do they even need to be there when they can t provide info and cases status given by computer?

At this point what should I do?

Try to hire attorney (wasted $ in my opinion).

Can I bring wife on tourist visa to wait on NVC then have her return for embassy interview? (I didn’t get married to stay separated)

Can anyone help?

I also notice some posting timelines are well in to July 08 for those who got approved are these just projected dates or typos? And very few stats for Indonesia.

Thanks

Dan & Dei

Wait, and while you're waiting, fill in your profile and timeline then learn the process so you're ready for the next steps. Maybe plan to visit your spouse in Indonesia. She may be able to visit you. It depends on how much she can demonstrate in the way of strong ties to Indonesia to convince a Consular officer she'll return.
