well just an update, dont have any news still in AP black hole, i did contact the congressman for my area, i went and signed the papers, to give them permission, to check on our status,that was last friday, i believe, but havent heard anything yet.This has been a long journey, i sent in our petition in july of 05, and now that date is just around the corner, we are praying this will end soon and he can come soon,thanks for the thoughts jen, i am stilll here just busy working two jobs at the moment, so not much time for me, congrats to all that have made it through, always karen&jawhar :clock:

oct 8 day 92 still waiting

oct 12,2005 touched after 96 days waiting

0ct13,2005 touched again wow

oct 17,2005 RFE in email

OCT 27,2005 sent RFE response back

Jan 16 2006 packet 3 recieved by my love

feburary 7th 2006 interview in casablanca

Feb 7th,2006 interview went well 221(g) said they will call him next week to get the visa, thank godddd

FEB 2007 TURNED IN ALL PAPERWORK TO CASA

MARCH 5 2007 PUT INTO AP AGAIN

MARCH 19 2007 CALL FROM CASA TO BRING IN PASSPORT

MARCH 21 2007 VISA IN HAND

MARCH 27 2007 FLIGHT TO CALIFORNIA

MAY 12,2007 MARRIED

AOS BEGINS

MAY 22,2007 MEDICAL EXAM AGAIN/ VACCANATIONS

JUNE 25,2007 MAILED AOS PACKET

JULY 3,2007 PACKET RECIEVED BY USCIS

JULY 11,2007 RECIEVED NOA 1 FOR EAD

JULY 14 RECIEVED NOA 1 FOR AOS

JULY 16,2007 CHECKS CASED FOR AOS AND EAD

Ohh Karen.... I'm so sorry it is taking so long. Hang in there girl (as you have been doing.) You are enduring a really long AR, for sure.... but insha'allah it will end very soon.

Thanks for checking in and letting us know the latest. I know it's so hard, and it can be really depressing to come to VJ and see all the instant visas issued for people who knew each other for a month or 2 before filing.... but each day that passes, you are one day closer to being together. God willing that day is coming so soon.

I know how you feel Karen. My fiance had his interview in Egypt on Feb 14th. I know we will all get through this eventually. We need to stay strong for each other and for our men. Hang in there girl!
