You said Taleen....it gave me goosebumps. Not used to people saying her name, everyone just says "the baby".

The other day hubby went to home depot and got a curtain rod for her room, he called and said "I got some stuff for Taleen's room". I was so excited. 10 weeks!

Hi everybody. I had to sneak my laptop in to plug in. Hope you are all having a good day.

We have collected enough for a very nice flower arrangement. Money is still coming in and I would like suggestions if the money should go to her mother or to Hatem. Not to spark any debates here, please pm me with your thoughts. Maybe by tommorrow we will know if there is a charity her family has named.

a couple of weeks ago. i had 10 days between summary 2 exams and finals at school, so i decided to have a baby in between there. worked out quite beautifully, if i do say so myself

my sister used to tease me while i was pg that ayah was going to be born jonesing for hot cocoa. (i had a pretty big swiss miss habit the last six months) taleen may just be born jonesing for a donut

Just my opinion, but I think Hatem should get it-- based on the fact that he is obviously going ot be into some medical bills and not working for a while-- that equals a lot of trouble. I know the family had funeral costs... but I think the medical costs will trump that in ammount.

I just got done cold-weather shopping for Ammar. He works in a freezer, and he is freezing himself slowly to death! He has lost a ton of weight, is always hungry, and is cold to the touch for hours after work... and complains about being cold ALL the time. I know he is refusing the idea but I just got him some snug-fit long-underwear/base layer (it's actually a base layer for ice climbing lol), a hat (he may like this part), a fleece jacket (he was trying to wear mine under the giant freezer coat they gave him), and some really warm socks-- smartwools and some other ones. We'll see how this part goes and go from there. He needs a base-layer shirt, but I don't know if I can get him to wear that-- he may be fine if he wears the long underwear bottoms. he's in there about 9hrs/day, 5 days a week... and it's -0*F+. He says it's average -10*F. That's too cold for just jeans.
