Barbequed butterfly porks on the grill with a side of veggies, bread, and hot chocolate.

My first dinner I cooked for my fiancee was beef steak, mashed potatoes, mushroom gravy, garlic toast, and broccoli. All homemade in my Ascott hotel suite's kitchen. I even boiled down some beef bones to make the gravy.

Just my 2 cents here. But why not make something for that represents you best? I'd assume that when you went to visit her, she probebly made some really good filipino food and I'm sure she eats plenty of that now as it is.

What is your favorite meal? Make that for her.

VJ Hours - I am available M-F from 10am - 5pm PST. I will occasionaly put in some OT for a fairly good poo slinging thread or a donut.

I agree... and his favorite dish that represents him best is beef meatloaf. When I was still in the Philippines, I used to make fun of him whenever he would tell me that he made 4 meatloaves and would tease him that it's the only dish he can make. Boy, when I first tasted it, I have been the one encouraging him to make more. Our deep freezer is filled with it. We got them frozen because the longer it stays in the freezer, the tastier it gets. Every meatloaf is different since he doesn't really have a recipe for it, just more of like calculation on every ingredient. But every time it is delicious. Last night, we almost fought over a small slice of it. We ended up him having it and I got leftover rice noodles for myself. And then I told him I'm ready for another meatloaf anytime. My husband is a good cook and that is his signature dish.

When my wife's arrival in February, she had a welcome Party.

My family and I baked her a chocolate cake and one of my

Filipina friend brought her Pork Sinigang. Those are her favorites.

I think thats great advice. She seems to like spaghetti and meatballs (favorite birthday dish), so I'm thinking that's an easy one to leave the gravy stay warm in the crockpot while I'm picking her up. But I think I'll give it my signature twist and make it really American- with bison meat. And I'll pull out that mixer attachment and make some real homemade noodles. There's nothing like freshly made pasta noodles cooked al dente. Freshly grated parmesan, garlic toast. And chocolate desert, maybe I'll crank up the fountain and have those little nearly frozen cheesecakes, bananas, strawberries, marshmallows, and sponge cake.

And I'd like to thanks the women here that are maintaining blogs. I'm really enjoying reading those. Right now, I'm into

We've waited one month already. How much longer? God, please let it be just 5 more.

Thanks VJ,
