OMG Laura I can't believe it's the 20th tomorrow already!! Good luck on your interview, you won't need it. They're very nice and organized there. You'll be absolutely fine. I had a huge grin on my face the whole time and we laughed our way through the interview (because the guy was hilarious). You'll see what I mean...after reading all the reports on montreal you'll feel like dejavu when you get there. Im so excited for you!! I'm glad your mom is going to be with you too. I'd be a little freaked out in Montreal on my own, but then I don't speak a lick of French.

08/25/06 - 08/08/07 - K1 timeframe from mailing the petition to the NSC to K1 approval at the Montréal Consulate

08/31/07 - Réjean makes the big move to the USA

09/22/07 - MARRIED!

10/09/07 - Réjean gets his SSN

Adjustment of status:

10/26/07 - Mailed AOS/EAD/AP

11/23/07 - Biometrics appointment

12/14/07 - I-485 transferred to the California Service Center

12/28/07 - EAD approved!

01/07/08 - EAD received

02/08/08 - GREEN CARD APPROVED!!!!!!

02/16/08 - Green card received!

01/02/09 - Réjean loses his wallet containing his drivers license, Social Security card, and green card

02/04/09 - Our best friends bail us out by giving us the money to file for the replacement green card!

02/12/09 - E-filed I-90 for the replacement green card along with the $370 filing fee (including biometrics)

02/19/09 - NOA1

02/25/09 - Biometrics appointment

05/01/09 - Replacement green card received

Removal of conditions:

01/07/10: Mailed I-751 packet by overnight mail to the CSC

01/11/10: I-751 packet delivered and signed for

01/19/10: Received NOA1

01/28/10: Biometrics (did walk-in due to Réjean being out on the road on original date of 02/10/10)

02/03/10: APPROVED!!!

02/05/10: Received e-mail from USCIS saying the card production has been ordered

02/06/10: Received letter typed on plain paper from USCIS congratulating Réjean on his removal of conditions approval

02/11/10: Green card received

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

Hey Laura, good luck!! I am sure you will be just fine... I just had my interview, I was so stressed, but for no reason. It is not that bad, and as long as you deeply believe in your relationship, they will know and trust you and everything will be alright!!

File received by NVC and sent to US Embassy in Paris: 03/10/2008

06/17/2008: INTERVIEW: Visa approved!!

12/29/2008: I went to my local office to regive my biometrics. And my EAD card has finally been issued!!

11/30/10: Receipt notice received in the mail

12/30/10: Called USCIS as no news for 1 month after NOA1

1/10/11: Emailed from USCIS about my call: "The process for fingerprint appointment scheduling has been requested."

1/13/11: NOA2 ASC appointment notice

2/3/11: Biometrics at local office (NOA2 recieved on 2/2/11!!!)

2/16/11: Date of decision: APPROVED

Geez stinkers!!! time is here huh??? I know you'll do fine... as long as you take my advise and don't fart inside the Consulate :blink: WAIT. Maybe if you do you get to go first :yes:

The thought of this brings tears to my eyes, no really my eyes are watering. :lol: The Consulate has a no pooting policy, a pooters area is located outside. :lol: Releasing a dirty bomb in the Consulate might set off the fire alarm and they'd just reschedule the interview anyways. :lol:
