USCIS require completing the shots they require first before filing for AOS.If your wife can't get the shot coz of her condition, you can still file for AOS but you need to send a waiver together with the application.

Be in your best interest to file a I693A with AOS application. Do a search on here for Dr L E Arnold and you can get it done by mail for about $20 or less.

I-693A is no longer accepted by USCIS. Only the new I-693. Dr Arnold probably still does the vaccination transfer tho with the I-693.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Yes, they are (I just spoke with his office yesterday) and thank god for that! The Civil Surgeon in our area wanted to charge $250 and insisted that an exam was needed...uuggghhh. Really grateful that Dr. Arnold is out there providing this service and that the people in these forums share such great info! Three cheers for DA and VJ!

Can someone give me his phone# or contact information. My wife is in the same situation and she is not suppose to have shot/vaccination either. I look at form I-693, and i believe if someway the Dr. can simply fill out the date of my wife last medical exam, other vaccination back in Thailand would be just fine like you mentioned above. This is what USCIS is looking for when filing for AOS since K1 visa doesn't need a complete medical exam again. I was thinking of filing AOS but she lacks this vaccination, and a copy of her medical checkup in Thailand.
