OK. So I had my medical done in Ireland and all the vaccines are OK except for VARICELLA- it says "not routinely available" on form DS-3025

I was about to send the AOS package , but started reading more about the medical and vaccinations and now I think I will get an RFE for the vaccinations. But... I cant even try and get it done because VARICELLA is not given to women that are pregnant. What can I do about that? I feel so lost and hopeless... Please give me an IDEA!

I would visit a civil surgeon, and get what you have transfered to the I-693, explain your condition to the CS, and they will probably will sign off on it with a note that you will get the vaccination done at a later time.

Or you can send a copy of what you have in with the I-485, and they may RFE or they may ask you to bring an updated record to the AOS interview, and at that time you could visit a C.S. and deal with it for the AOS interview, or RFE.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Both posters above are correct.

I am still breastfeeding and therefore cannot get the MMR, the civil surgeon marked it as a contravention. My AOS has been approved.

BUT...Since the USCIS have changed their forms and there is no vaccination supplement I-693a what do I do?Do I get them to fill out page 5 of this form: http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-693.pdf

Yes, it is now a part of the I-693, the CS will only fill out the appropriate areas.

YMMV

I hope they will do that. I tried transferring the data from DS3025 to the I 693a but the civil surgeon said that I need to go through the full medical! That was 6 weeks ago. I hope this time I will be more lucky

You need to go prepared with the rules... many CS do not know the rules... it is up to you to put your foot down and get only what you need.

YMMV

This is 2003 instructions for CS. Of course official document from CDC  You must be able to convince him/her.

Because the civil surgeon has completed the vacciation waiver, USCIS would not hold the application as pending until the vaccination was completed. They'd go ahead and process the case as normal.
