04/12/11- Received RFE (request for yet another translation of Birth Certificate)

04/15/11- Bio Appointment (success!)

04/16/11- RFE Mailed to NVC

04/19/11- Touch (RFE answer received by NVC) (SMS & E-mail)

05/18/11- EAD card production ordered

05/18/11- AP postdecision activity - letter mailed (SMS & e-mail)

You will not believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot believe it myself!!!! I checked USCIS site today and it is still pending. However, I just got back from work and here it is! There is a hard copy of NOA2 in my mail box!

We are approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dancing: :dancing: :dancing: :dancing: :dancing: :dancing: :lol::dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS SO HAPPY FOR YOU BOTH!!!!!!!!!!

I was not thinking of getting our NOA2 till November maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel, even booked a return ticket for a Christmas visit as I did not think the whole process would be finished by then.

Now I have a dilema do I waste the ticket at christmas or delay the packet 3 forms................oh well not gonna drive myself mad until I get packet 3 ha ha

Looks like Vermont is back on track again.

What surprises me (or maybe not) is that USCIS web-site still has our case as "pending". I called NVC last night and they confirmed receipt of our case on their side.

Oh well! Whatever it is, I am so happy to have the approval notice in hand!!!

So get ready June - September is the month! :dance:

Looks like there is something wrong with the USCIS web-sites update, since a lot of people are getting hard copies of NOA2 with "Case pending" status on the web-site.

June 26, 2012 - The Hubbs received his 10-year Permanent Residency Card (aka THE Greencard) in the mail today!




At long last, this highly stressful leg of our journey has come to a close - for now - and we couldn't be more grateful and appreciative for all the tremendous help and support here on VJ! Without VisaJourney I doubt we would be where my husband and I are today! Thanks to all!

ok..................so I have not got my NOA2 yet hopefully good news this month or if not next month

I just wanted to say what a great start to the weekend Alex and NYC tiger both getting approved Saphire Dreams off on holiday to see her love tomorrow I could not be happier.........oh well thats a lie I could be happier if I had my NOA 2 :jest:

Lets hope that next week brings more good news for all of us who are still waiting for NOA2, and hope that the journey is a quick RFE free journey for those who have just received it

well back to the waiting room for me :lol::clock:

Congratulations to those who have gotten approvals - and good luck on the next part of your journey!!!

Sorry I've been away from here for awhile... but the reason is good: I moved!!!

I recently got a job in Virginia and after accepting it, have been busy with the move from flat Ohio to mountainous VA... and just got settled down here this week, actually. The town is amazing, the mountains are amazing.. and my job is amazing. :) I'm sure my fiance will love it when he's finally able to come here.

We are excited to see that our name jumped on Igor's list to 174.. it's the little things that make us happy. He still worries about a million different things that could go wrong with the visa application.. I still tell him to just be calm and wait. He worries a lot about the processing times according to USCIS, though I keep telling him not to. Guess it's just his pessimistic german-ness. ;)

Other than that, there is no news from us. As far as I know, no touches on our case even. Though I did just change my address online, so that may make one. When I went to check my case status though, it kept telling me that I couldn't check it. Anyone else have this issue? Maybe it's just because I changed my address a few minutes before.
