Don't get nervous!! :) If you already sent in your petition, then don't worry - the worst that will happen is that you'll get an RFE - and that's really not a big deal. :)

I think you're right about the certified copy thing.. cause on the guide it says that you're supposed to send all of the originals of what you sent for the packet to the beneficiary for their consulate interview. Thanks for the help.

I've also, since my posting, read on other messages that you don't need to translate everything. I did...but it can't hurt, right?

If anyone else has any more info or input, that'd be great. What heppened to all of the June filers?? No one seems to post on here much anymore... or do I just check this board way too often? lol.

hmmm... with your fiance(e)'s mother moving, do you mean also that your fiancee has now moved - and that's the address you want to change on the g325a?

if so, that's what i have to change myself (my fiancee moved from the capital of mongolia back to her home city)... just haven't gotten around to it yet....

i'm planning on calling uscis to make the change before the nao2 comes in - i'm just concerned that once it hits nvc it may move pretty quickly and i'd rather have the new address in there before everything starts to happen.

and if it is your fiance(e)'s address that has changed, you would want to change the address before because this is the address that the packet 3 actually gets sent to... at least, that's what i think happens. otherwise it may be sent to the old address if you don't make the change soon enough along the way.

or if somebody knows differently please let us know! :))

and also in general - is csc moving or what????? seems much better than before - i'm thinking maybe a 4 month approval? you all thinking the same thing? i know there are many people who are taking longer, but with all the april filers getting approvals - i'm going to focus on THEM - and believe we're all looking at 4 month approvals... :D

I just got back to the States after spending the summer in the UK with my fiance and realized that the NOA-1 had not arrived. I called the CSC and found out that it was just lost in the mail--that's surprisingly reassuring, since I spent most of last night convinced that I'd been tracking the wrong number and the whole thing was actually months behind!

Guys, here is the my situation. My fiance's mom has been sponsor by her daughter (fiance's sister) to lived in the states. She just got here a fews weeks ago. so on the application that I submit in June it still has her foreign address. My fiance is still live in Cambodia in the same address. My question was does it necessary to report to uscis or report to them when the packet 3 come?

ahhhh... i looked closer at the g325a, there's no address for the fiance's mother - but there is the city and country of residence. my guess is that it's not necessary to report it - but to be safe it probably would be good to call the uscis hotline and check with them: 800-375-5283.

I hate how moody and emotionally unstable I'm becoming during this process. Some days it feels like this is never, ever, ever going to be done and we are never going to be together. I am miserable being apart from Spurs, and I just want this to be over. Occasionally I think I should stop coming to VJ and checking out Igor's list, since seeing the lack of approvals really gets me down. I find myself wanting to send snappy emails to people who have posted about being approved but not updated their VJ timelines (thus keeping us down one spot on Igor's List--one spot!), even though I know that it makes no difference to when we'll actually be approved. Other times, I just figure misery loves company and, when I see approvals, I see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I just wish CSC would start approving May filers already--then at least we'd be next!!!

Sorry for coming on and ranting, especially since I don't post too often, but I just had to vent...

Don't sweat it. We all get frustrated with the process. At least those of us with a legit VJ do, and we all need to vent sometimes. Hang in there.

Where your fiances' mother lives is not that big a deal to the DOS. I wouldn't worry about it at all. If asked in later stages of the process just inform them. :)

Everything you're feeling is something I think most of us have gone through. :( You just got back from a long visit with your love, no? That makes it harder! You're also so close to an approval...that is always the hardest time.

When I used to see people who filed before us getting approved or thought back to January when people were being approved in just a months time and here we are waiting 4, I would often get discouraged. I am the strongest person I know but I did get a bit... at times while awaiting the approval for sure!

Perspective is very important for you right now. Keep in mind that VJ is such a small percentage of filers so when we're not seeing approvals coming through here chances are there was really quite a few. ;) Remembering that and reminding myself of it always seemed to help me get through those extra tough days. ;)

You are in the homestretch now and your approval is right around the corner. I know every moment that goes by is one too many but trust me when I say that when it comes .... all of that will melt away and you will ride the rest of the way on a cloud of happiness knowing it wont be much longer at all. :)

Of course, it doesn't help matters when the Villa get turned over by Stoke City either, eh?

And where in Cleveland are ya, btw? I've got a good buddy in Parma - you know it?

Thank you for rubbing salt in my wounds  At least I have the great reassurance that Spurs lost too, so that makes me feel somewhat better!

I do know Parma--is your friend Ukrainian, by any chance? They have the best pierogies in Ohio (outside of my mom's, of course) in Parma...

Also, if you watched early episodes of "The Drew Carey Show," you might remember a Parma classic: "We're going bowling, so don't leave me in Solon, moon over Parma tonight!"
