Well at least for us, its not just USCIS or NVC, its every thing.

My hubby needs a push (more than just ONE push) to get his work done. From getting a credit card for himself, to renewing his state id, to arranging his room, to calling his dad, to reminding him about his tax payment and well the usual waking him up every morning by 5:30am.

Its kind of funny how we live so apart from each other but I still rule his world and till the time he doesn't hear me yelling at him to do these things, he doesn't do it. So basically if he has anything important to do, he just lets me know once and then he knows I will after him till the work is done. WoW, I feel such a good baby sitter........opps hubster sitter :P

ps: glad he doesn't read visajourney :P

You're so funny.....glad that he really doesn't read VJ..lol ....for sure if he does...that would probably start your arguments....hehhehe

That's right ronjie :star: Based on Silent's statement, he may need another "push" to read VJ posted by his wife

My husband has been here since January and the first two months things were cool - no arguments/quarrel. But by the third month (April) and he still hadn't received his work permit that's when the arguments began - it would seem like everyday.

He went into depression mode because he couldn't contribute to the household - I explained to him over and over that things would be okay and just to chill and relax - but he couldn't. So since he was depressed/frustrated - everything was an argument. Example - why don't you show me the bills? You're already depressed about not being able to contribute - so if you see what your wife has to pay every month - without complaint - will you stop starting arguments?

Sorry so long - just wanted to vent!

hey, its just nice to know we are with good company....remember keep ur eye on the prize

my husband and i argue over how many kids we want...he lives in the country and he has seven brothers and sisters so he thinks its easy to have that many up here...I just want two and he wants like 5...so everyday we go back and forth and I tell him it is not that easy in USA especially in NY to have that many kids and live comfortable...He also tries to tell me how it is up here and he never been here before in his life...I am all about living comfortable and not struggling...who isn't...so we try to stay away from this topic as much as possible because we know its going to start a huge fight....and we also argue about his attitude towards getting stuff done for this visa process...he is too laid back and thinks we have some much time to do everything and I am more of the type that says if we can do it now why not get it over it...so we argue when i tell him to go get this or do that and he tells me i'll do it next month or something...we lost 9 days because i was waiting on him to get me the docs for his DS230 because he waited until last minute to do it since he didn't think we would have gotten so far with this whole process...i blame him why we are in this predicament right now that our stuff is not yet completed...if he sent it to me on time I would have probably would have gotten a case complete already...MEN...you got to love them.... :jest:

OK, OK,....I am a man and I started this...lol... yes we r more use to seeing things get done at a fast pace..we see ouorselves as ambitious, others see us as pushy, and do we care?. not really as long as it gets done TODAY... NOT TOMORROW..BUT I agree there is no reason to drag this already frustrating process out..thanks for the reply

ummmmm my habibi and I do disagree... but It's usually cause of small things once in a great while. We really are made for eachother Hamdolah but saying that he does know how to "push my button" to get me going.. than quickly has me laughing like a crazy... it's a fun roller coaster. I am soooooo in love with my crazy husband.

We do have disagreements sometimes but we are not really into quarelling.

I guess, it is just because we are still in the adjustment period as married couple. Tryin to prolong my patience. hehehe..

I promise to love you in good times and in bad, with all I have to give and all that I am, in the only way I know how -- completely and forever......

We don't argue too much but that's because I realize I'm basically crazier that a sh!t house rat due to my prolonged unemployment... so I bite my tongue a lot or I just immediately apologize after I say or do something crazy. However, I know we will definitely have the test of wills when he gets here. ;)

I always tell her "I love you" and that takes care of the problem. Last time I was driving back home from friends house at 4am on saturday morning and called her back home and she got mad because it was late and she didn't like me driving at 4am and she was right but she was ok the next day and she also told me sorry beacuse she got mad the other day. She always does what I tell her to do like getting her college transcript, getting her picture done for NVC Etc. and she does anything I tell her to do and she also listen to me I think!!! no offense to anyone but that is the one of the reason why I went back home to get married. We are like two fish in one pot.......

I get insecure because we are so far away. I can't stay away more than 5 mos without visiting him. I am the one that gets irritable and questions stuff (all related to being soooo far) He always seems to know I am his, and nothing bothers him ever! I can be upset about anything and he is cool as a cucumber. I think that is why we will be fine......He just thinks I am adorable and it's impossible to fight but we will see after we are together 24/7

I would say its normal Ilya, we have been going thru arguments all the time especially when is some holiday like Christmas, New Year....pressure, thats pressure, once everything will be done with waiting in USCIS/NVC you will have different topics to talk about.
