I JUST CAME ACROSS A SITE WHICH SAYS YOU NEED TO GO TO THE US EMBASSY OR CONSULATE NEAR YOU AS KOREA IS LISTED AS A COUNTRY WHICH........IT DOES NOT PERMIT ME CUT AND PASTE. HOWEVER THEY SAY THAT KOREA IS ONE OF THREE COUNTRIES FOR WHICH YOU NEED TO CONTACT THE US EMBASSY OR CONSULATE NEAR YOU. IT MIGHT BE A GOOD IDEA TO TAKE ANY PROOFS OF ENTRY, EXIT OR PASSAGE PAID IN CASE YOUR TICKET WAS PAID WHEN YOU WERE DEPORTED. PERSONALLY IT WOULD BE A GOOD THING TO KEEP DOCS OF YOUR 'MARRIAGE' TO THE SOLDIER, DEPENDING ON YOUR CURRENT IMMIGRATING REASON (THIS COULD COME BACK TO BITE YOU, SO IT WOULD BE VERY NECESSARY TO REVIEW THIS PART OF YOUR APPLICATION EVEN BEFORE A FINAL STAGE). :bonk::crying: CONTACT ME IF YOU NEED. TC.

Hi,

I can just answer your NBI question: when you go to NBI your whole name shall be written in your NBI, avoid the hassle, when I was there at USEM during my interview, the old lady applicant have to go back to fix her problem with her NBI document, she was a widow and her NBI failed to read her husband's surname because she was using her surname all these time, she was petitioned by her son in the US however, so even if it's not her husband who petitioned her, shes still needs that NBI bearing all of her names.

Example: Maria Lourdes Ramos Cabrera (your name when you were single) Smith- yur husband's surname then your NBI should appear as follows:

Cabrera de Smith, Maria Lourdes y Ramos.

I hope it helps, oh it's faster to get NBI too if you bring the old NBI clearance you have, just sign in the form that you are married and use your husbands surname and your surname as middle name....

My husband is also a soldier serving in S.Korea, I got to Korea twice but in my case, legally. I don't think you should declare you've been to Korea at all?

'Til here,
