Hello,

I'm pretty new here but i've been reading the posts for a while now. Anyway, does anyone here know what to do after we receive the NOA2 for the I130 or I129F? We're confused about what to do next should we receive it. Do we need to send a mail telling the USCIS that we'll abandon the other petition or just let them decide?

Help Please!!!

God bless us all!!!

HI.. Chris and Barbie,

First Congratulations!

It would depend to you and your wife, just ignore the I-130 if you want a k3 visa which often much easier to get your wife to the US and continue the process there for Adjustment of status, if CR1 you have to go through with the I-130, your wife will get GC and can work immediately when she come to the US and cheaper but would take more time to wait.

You will be recieving a letter from NVC to pay for CR1 application, if you want the K3 just ignore it, and now you can call them and ask immediately your wife case number it is started with MNL,if you got it them give to your wife, that number would be the reference of all the process, IF the papers is already in Manila then she can ask for appointment for interview (call the USEM manila# 1 909 101 7878)but make it sure she would accept the date with a one week allowance for medical. She can pay P650 for NSO verification in metrobank in advance after getting the CASE NUMber.

I know this because i have gone through this...hayyy just be patient.

Hope this help.

Thx a lot

Mercy

Thanks so much Marcy and congratulations!!!

I hope you don't mind me asking some more questions because i just really want us to do the right thing this time. Anyway, did you have to send a letter to them if you decide not to take the I130 (this is the CR1 right?)?

Also, how did you know that the Embassy in Manila has gotten your documents already? Would their hotline people here in Manila know that or do you have to wait for your packet?

I'm getting scared already. I just don't want any more delays...

So happy for you. We just got married this year 2 but we've been sweethearts for 3 years now and all we want is to be together this time. =)

God Bless!!!
