temp EAD at POE confusion

We got the stamp at Port Huron, MI. It's red and says "work authorized" on the front of the I-94. The guy said the k-1 is a work authorized visa and you need to stamp it (he was training the guy processing our k-1). Unfortunately my fiance will have to stop working when the i-94 expires until he gets EAD if I understand that correctly. Unless EAD comes before then which I doubt. He's going to try a temp agency to see if he can work during that time period & then stop. It's worth a shot.

He may or may not have to stop. I think the average to get the EAD is around 60 days now, so you may not have a gap. But a temp agency could be the perfect thing.
