Biometrics and Case Status

My mother's conditions were removed without an interview last year but due to delays in the processing of my GC, I was not eligible to file my I-751 until late January of this year. I sent my application along with the evidence my mother provided to remove her conditions, as well as a few more current paperwork last February 21st and I received an NOA extending my GC for one year on February 29. I was very happy with the quick turnaround and I even had my biometrics done less than a month after.

My question is, would the biometrics show up when I check the status of my case online? As of right now, it only shows that they received my application and evidence. Was I supposed to get another piece of paper when I did my biometrics with a new case number? I sent the application to CSC but because I was away in college at the time, my biometrics took place at RI. Could this be why it was not updated?

The USCIS website shows that they are currently processing November 2007 applications. It seems like they're awfully behind. However, the list here in visajourney shows people who filed at TSC or wherever else and were transferred to CSC have already been approved (I looked at the users who filed at roughly the same time I did). Does that mean that CSC is actually ahead of their listed time frame?

I was hoping to receive my GC quickly since my mom's only took a few months to finish and I figured that since her application was quickly processed and mine is connected to hers, it would also be quick for mine. However, this doesn't seem to be the case.

My status message did not change after the biometrics. What did change was the last date on the updated case status showing that my file was 'touched' for the 3 days after the biometrics. Only the date changed, not the message. California is processing applications fairly quickly. I wouldn't be surprised if you receive your approval any time now.

Neither the date nor the message was changed after my biometrics (and it has been months already). Should I be worried? Could it because I did my biometrics in Rhode Island? If I call the customer service number, would they be able to help?
