I-485 - K1 expiration

Which date do I put as the "Expires on" date for the I-485 form? The date on the K-1 visa itself (October 30), or the date that's 90 days after he entered the country (July 28)?

The date that is on the I-94. The K-1 Visa date is for when you must use it to enter the country. Once you use it it is no longer valid. The I-94 is what determines when you need to be married by and how long the K-1 visa entry is good for.

Thanks a lot. So as long as I turn in the AOS application before the expiration date, we're kosher? It doesn't have to be processed before it expires, right?

The expiration date is just something you write down where it's asked for. There is neither a deadline for filing or completion but the sooner the better in most K1 cases.
