There is no single timeline. It depends on several factors including which type of visa you want. I am a bit confused by your post. Has it been two months since you first filed? or 2 months since you last saw each other? You do not work with an embassy in the US. Normally it starts with USCIS (which oversees immigration) and then with the Department of State.

24 March 2009 I-751 received by USCIS

27 March 2009 Check Cashed

30 March 2009 NOA received

8 April 2009 Biometric notice arrived by mail

24 April 2009 Biometrics scheduled

26 April 2009 Touched

...once again waiting

1 September 2009 (just over 5 months) Approved and card production ordered.

Okay I am really confused. First you tell us that you are married to an American man, now you say something about being engaged in Morocco. I understand how hard it is to explain your situation due to the language barrier, but for us to help you we need to know more about it.

Are you married or engaged?

If you are engaged it is okay that you were engaged in Morocco. They don't care where it happened for the K-1 visa. But 2 months is not a long time whether it is a fiance visa or a married visa. I don't know the timelines now, but I believe even 7 months or longer isn't an unreasonable expectation.

Sweetie these things take time, and there is nothing you can do to speed it up. I was married for over 2 years before my husband got his visa. Some here have had even longer waits. It is hard yes, but you must learn to calm down and expect a wait. In the end it will all be worth it.

zilla,

welcome to the mena forum. it is good to see a new name here.

It is very normal for the embassy to take a long time to complete your immigration process.

some cases take 2 or 3 years and some cases take 6 or 7 months.

Good luck on your journey and if you have any more questions, please feel free to ask.
