Question about 129F form question 20

Just want to make sure we will do this right. Kinda confusing.

After we fill out the I130 and get NOA. When filling out the I129f question 20 is kinda confusing. I'm from Canada he's from the states. We married in the US. Do we but the Montrel consulate for this question -- kinda scares you b/c in the instructions it says answering wrong can lead to length delays! Can anyone give me info ? Thanks so much !!!!!!

There is no question #20 on the I-129F form. If you mean question #19, then put Montreal, Canada down if that is the consulate with jurisdiction over your spouse's residence since you got married in the US. The NVC will choose the consulate to send the approved petition even if you filled it wrong. Good luck.
