My I-175 was finally approved and I already received my 10 years Green Card. I was just wondering why my I-130 is still pending, it says:

--------

Application Type: I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

Current Status: Case received and pending.

--------

I hope somebody has some experience to say about it :).

Is that on the online status? I would suspect that they just haven't updated the file because you would not have received the conditional greencard unless the I-130 was approved, let alone be successful in removing conditions 2 years later. (I-751 not I-175).

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Ha, if you call that 800 number that tell you to check your on-line status, can go back as far as 3 1/2 years on cases that are history and still says we received your application and it is pending. State department is the same way, they just don't update your case status.

I-751 not I-175, my mistake, and I received the 10 years greencard, not the conditional greencard, I got that one long time ago, so that is the reason It didn't make sense that the I-130 (online status) says that is still pending, I just wanted to know if somebody has pass through the same situation.

Is it possible to fix this?, I think I am going to call them to see if they would be able to update the online status of the I-130.

Any other thoughts?

Folks,

I called USCIS Customer Service, and they advised me to send a I-824 or send a letter to the National Benefits Center (NBC).

I don't think sending a I-824 would help, read this:

---

1. Form I-824 is used to request further action on a previously approved petition or application. Note: I-824 is not for verifying status of a pending petition/application.

---

and I am not going to pay $340 for filling that :S, it is their mistake, not mine :S.

I would send a letter to the National Benefits Center (NBC).

Is someone has passed through this situation before?

Any thoughts?
