Tammy, it's about time you woke up, sleepyhead.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

doods, that is a great attitude to take to a Customer Service meeting  ** the customers---drink a latte

I don't even work with customers, but apparently EVERYONE is a customer. I like to just come to my cubicle, turn on my computer and ignore the rest of the world until quittin' time but now I have to be nice to people. Oh well can't hurt.

Anyone else hear those freakish thunderboomers last night? My little one was in my bed and the hubby slept in her bed. I missed him but he said he had the best sleep 'cause her bed is so comfortable!!!

Cool lightning:) I only saw it for maybe 5 mins because had to get back to work. And I hardly heard any thunder in my office as I work in a place that is like.....prison walls with no windows and really thick walls....

Now Boston is expecting more storms today. Possibly ones with hail. I can do without hail though......

oh geez! I didn't know that! I hope it doesn't start until hubby is back from his interviews since he's on foot with no umbrella!

Oh poor guy:( Well, right now it is beautiful. The ocean is not going cray (hey I wonder if the ocean really does go crazy like in the movies during storms;) and the sun is out. (which according to weather.com is our enemy right now cuz its making everything heat up)

How's your hubby doing in this economy in Boston? It is a yucky time to be looking for a job I hear. In fact, Saturday I sent out maybe 10 resumes for me cuz I'm looking and NO callbacks!:( That tells me that the job ads were either fake or too many people out of work in Boston:((

June 14, 2007 Sent I130 to Vermont Service Center via USPS overnight

Oct. 1, 2007 On my way to Palestine

Oct. 5, 2007 I130 approved, transferrerd to NVC YAY!!!!

Oct. 16, 2007 Return to US, ranks one of the saddest day of my life:(

Well he's still unemployed but he's only been looking for a few weeks so too soon to tell how it's going. He's just now starting to get callbacks from the resumes he submitted a couple of weeks ago.

Rajaa- after years of going through that with my Husband I learned not to expect anything and I would cope just fine. This LDR has taught me a great deal of patience and a lot of acceptance.

jax. ur place rocked! Thanks for lettin me in!

about the whole waiting for ur man online...yeah we went thru that..its soooooo frustrating. I found that what worked for us was when he would not let me know somehow that he wouldn't be online...i'd take a couple days off as well without telling him. He very quickly learned how much it sucks to wait forever for nothing and he started telling me if he wasn't gonna be able to make it on.

Visited Jordan-December 2004

Interview-December 2005

Visa approved-December 2005, 1 week later after supplying "more information"

Arrived U.S.A.-December 2005

Removed Conditions-September 2008

Divorced in December 2013

Here is my 2 cents on online meeting times. I remember in the beginning of our relationship, we talked daily for several hours a day. As things progressed, we still talked daily but for an hour or two. Once we reached a comfort level, it was every other day. It got to the point where we would talk online once a week but on the phone more often.

We both got sooooo sick of sitting in front of a computer. I think this is a natural process. Even in relationships that are not online, people usually go out of their way in the beginning and then things settle down.

VJ Hours - I am available M-F from 10am - 5pm PST. I will occasionaly put in some OT for a fairly good poo slinging thread or a donut.

I agree with this. At first we spoke everyday for 6-15 hours for the first 2 years. In the second year once the engagement was set we started aligning goals more so we had more work to do in personal lives to prepare for marriage. Once we were married in the 3rd year we were still working on getting our ducks in a row and now in the 4th year communication has had to nearly slow to a snail pace because of my school and his military. Once we're both over this speed bump and reunited able to live together in a year then things will be very different. This seems to be the normal progression of relationships.

If it was in person you'd be really into each other at first during the dating and then things cool off after the getting to know each other period and so forth. Adjustment comes with each progression and it has its moments.

We used to be the same way as this but also at times if one of us was at home we would leave our pc on with the volume up and the other would buzz when they got online. It kind of helped especially with the time change and work schedules.

Right. We'd do that play it by ear thing with twitter as well now because of time change and various schedules.

i feel tht is where we are now more me than him...i am so sick of hurrying home in front door straight to computer and there he is waiting...(not that this isnt good) but i just got home, this was before the time change...now i cant get home quicker and it turns out late for him and if i make a stop even worse...so if i see its after a certain time i dont even try to make it and he knows by now, then i get the offline telling me how he waitied and then now the ecards more and more..but thats ok a couple years on that computer is really turning out to be a hard thing to keep up..it is good to see others are in the same boat
