My wife has her conditional green card and we are thinking of moving back to thailand. I would like her to still be able to keep her green card and one day maybe get her citizenship. I read that if you return to the US every 6 months or less even for a couple of weeks then thats fine. Is this true?

Sorry, I might just add to the uncertainty. But as far as I know, in order to retain a green card one has to show serious

intentions to remain a resident in the U.S. So, I think, just a couple of weeks every six months is not cutting it. But then again, I could be wrong.
