Hi

This is my first post here, I didn't quite know where to put it, so I put it here.

My conditional green card expires on 08/18/2008. I am travelling to Canada by car for 2-3 days in July.. I am only 15 and I will be travelling with a US citizen that is not my family. Am I gonna have any problems with coming back? Thanks in advance

Check with the Canadian embassy - you can email them. I would think that you might need a notarized statement from your parents giving this person permission to take you with them to Canada. Good Luck

I think there is a misunderstanding.

I don't need a green card to enter Canada; my passport is enough.

The question is will I be able to re-enter the US with conditional GC expiring soon.

But thanks for taking time to reply :)

Your green card is still valid when you return (if you are going for only a few days as you say), and will allow you to re-enter the country.

But, Motu is correct. You are a minor crossing the border without your parent(s)/guardian(s). A lot of countries require written permission from parents/legal guardians if they are not travelling with the child. Check into this before you travel.
