What did you mean by "holding" your passport. As far as I know your passport will be taken by SLEC during your medical exam and they will submit it to USEM along with your medical exam results. Did you mean you have your passport with you during entire interview process?

Oh I see. Did you have the acknowledgment letter with you that day and have passed it to the window where you were told to pass it? I think they were concern of your baby and need the consent/acknowledgment duly signed by your husband that both of you agreed to leave the baby in your mother's care and will petition her in due time.

Just secure the required papers ASAP if you want to fly soon para hindi na madelay issuance ng visa mo. According to Ken & Marie, kelangan ipa notarized ang acknowledgment letter, so make sure na ma-notarized para wala ng problema sa USEM. Good luck!

I bet they're right edlet  ,have it notarized first and have your husband send it to you via fedex.

dont worry i'm sure once you've given them what they're asking of you, you'll be alright and you'll soon have your visa with you

Cheer up ;)
