I've already posted on here, but got a ton of responses that were kind of all over the map, so I just wanted to see if I got it right to minimize the wait, etc.

So here's my situation, I am married to an American woman (married in Canada) and we have 2 kids (born in Canada). We want to move to a border town in the USA but I still want to keep my job in Canada. I understand that I'm allowed 180 days "visiting" out of the year, but what route should I go and what visa should I go for. We currently live in Vancouver and are looking to move to Lynden, WA.

So I have been told to go the K3 route, and also told to go the CR-1 route. Also, I heard of a visa which while waiting for the other stuff, that I can freely come and go across the border. Is this correct?

Anything you can tell me to make this easier for us would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
