It's been 83 days :(

By the time I see him it will be exactly 4 months, that's the longest we have ever gone... :(

But on the bright side, the wonderful, fabulous, amazing side...when I see him next....touch him next...kiss him....I'll be going home with him and I'll never have to be away from him for that long ever again.

95 days. Last time I saw my husband was at 9:35 am, March 13, 2008 at the Hilo Airport.

But Chris arrives in 2 weeks on Canada Day :D

Yay! That is exciting! I am happy for you. My son's birthday is on Canada day. I won't see my hubby for a little less than 9 weeks. We are hoping to get him out here for our baby's birth.

Our evil plan is working. Muahahahahahah!

I guess that's why I like VJ so much, seeing couples get united after waiting for so long.

lol.. that is awesome! I like it a lot too because there are a lot of people who have either been where you are or are going through it with you are right after you.

I was just wondering how long it has been for most of you since you have last seen your significant other? It has been 79 days for me.

Been 10 months for me !!!!! :( been in USCIS system for almost 9 months ...I'm worn out with this waiting soooooooo unfair to keep couples apart this long :(

Michelle

10 months? Wow. I am so sorry. It is hard. I just looked at your timeline and you haven't gotten your NOA2 yet?

There are some strong people to be able to go through such a long time apart!

The longest we have been separated is probably about 2 months, but since we have gotten serious enough that we both know that we want to be together always we have been lucky enough to see each other every two weeks or so. I was pretty worried that once we submitted our I-129f I would not be able to visit until I got my visa, but from what I have read on here it seems like it should be ok as long as I carry a lot of paperwork with me. I am going to have a pet visa file copy

It's awesome you are able to do that! :)

I last saw him May 20th - and I see him again June 28th.

We visit every 3-6 weeks so we're pretty lucky.

It's awesome you are able to do that! :)

It has been a very long 77 days for us.... but if her interview is successful..only 22 more days to go!! I honestly admire all of you who have had to wait so long sometimes. Talk about having strength! :wow:

Only 22 more days? How fantastic!!! :) I have like 62 days ... that is IF he makes it through customs for the birth of our baby. Then I have no clue how long we will be apart again after that!

I last saw my husband on Monday, Jan 21/08 so I guess it has been almost 5 months. That is the longest we've gone since we met and it has been hard even though we have both been busy with work/school (thank GOD)!!

Michelle (in the UK) you have my sympathies...

We have always met in Canada (he is in Spokane and I am in small town MB) but we have had a house for over a year now which I have not yet seen (in person) and I just can't take it anymore so I bought a ticket to visit July 2 for 2 weeks. I was super excited for about 45 seconds... now I am just super anxious about getting across the border!! Please send me your positive energy for early, early morning July 2.

Michele

glad you will get to see him on July 2!!! I understand the anxiousness... my hubby and i are both that way for his trip here for the birth of the baby in August!

Well....it's been since March 23 for us. And prior to that it had been a year. He will be here in 9 days for my daughter's grade 8 graduation and our church wedding on the 28th. Then we are headed home on the 29th.

It's been 14 months since we started our journey and it's almost over. At least the me getting to the US part anyway.

9 days? That is AWESOME! I am so glad your journey is almost over. We are so behind in the process since there were so many things we had initially gotten misinformation on, but we are in the game now and can't wait til we are together and don't ahve to be worried about being separated by country borders any longer!

I last saw him March 3, 2008......hoping to be with each other again by August on his 2nd visit. Though we haven't missed a day of talking online. It's worth the wait.

Good luck to everyone!

I hope everything goes well for being reunited in August. That is also when me and my hubby are hoping to be reunited for the birth of our baby!

last saw my hubby June 3rd

will see him again June 29 :) and we are meeting in Vegas for 4 days in Aug

tho after that I won't probably see him till Oct :(

Vegas sounds like fun! What hotel are you going to be staying in? Aug til Oct is a long time. That is what I am thinking also... Sept or Oct is when I am hoping I can fly out to be there for the interview. I have no clue when it really will be happening though (the interview that is).

 Yes, that is SOO WONDERFUL! I was thinking that it wasn't that long ago you had your interview in Montreal. I am so glad you get to go home with him!!!

I understand how hard it is! I hope the job helps the time to pass quickly and that your case is processed quickly! I know it has helped me some to get involved in activities, but I still miss my husband like crazy and can't wait to see him!!!

It's been just two weeks and two days, though it feels longer.

For the past year, we have been lucky enough to be able to see each other every 4 weeks without fail so far...sometimes we squeeze in an earlier visit. It's a 10 hour drive one-way. I am looking to move to up to northern WA this summer so we can visit every weekend when possible. He'll be just an hour away then right across the border.

I don't know how some of you do it, only seeing each other every few months or once a year...I can't imagine how hard that must be.

Last saw M on 11 May 2008 at 17.03 EST, then I had to go get my flight back to Dublin.

Nothing like as long as some of the folks here, but still too long as far as I'm concerned! <_<

Anyway, hang in there everybody!

The last time I saw my sweetie was June 1 but he is coming this Friday for the weekend! Yeah. We are very fortunate, we see each other at least once a month but lately it has been twice a month. My interview is less than a month away and I am hoping to move the week after our interview! So exciting!
