I received my appointment letter today! Yeah! Now it says that all DS 156 forms are required in an electronically completed format in English. Now I have already completed the online version and sent that in do I need to do another one? Or do I just copy the one that I already submitted?

I never got my package 4 :(

Do I have to electronically fill out the DS156k?? They sent me a paper one in package 3 and I just filled it out by hand, neatly.

Is this okay??

No handwritten DS 156! Must be printed off.

If you click on my timeline I mention it in my experience at the Vanc interview. Cost me another half hour because they made me go downstairs to do it on the computer and print it out (another run through security clearance). It's a hassle.

Remember, NO HANDWRITTEN DS 156!

I made photocopies of mine before I sent them in. I brought the photocopies with me to the interview. I don't even know if they asked for them, but I had them. My D156K which was filled in by hand. I remember one of them had to be signed at the consulate. Sorry, can't remember which. If I had to guess I would say it was the D156K.

It was such a flurry when I was handing over documents ... it was a good thing I was organized ... but it also means I can't remember exactly what happened with each document. I even handed over my appointment letter and my copy of it, so I don't have it to refer to to help answer your question.

My motto ... if in doubt, bring it!
