And only in Detroit Wayne County do those others burn down their own homes and businesses and destroy it then steal it blind and wonder why they have nothing. You might like it in Wayne County it is full of Muslims from the Middle East.

Besides Detroit, which has a large democratic population, I'm surprise that Michigan has been a blue state. Will the primary incident with the delegates and votes have a toll on swinging the state red? I'm really not sure yet...

Wayne County votes for Democrats at something like 80-90%. Aside from Ann Arbor, the rest of the state is pretty conservative.

It's the same in Illinois. Cook country is very blue but the rest of the state is red. Take Chicago out of the state and it would be a solid blue. In effect, Chicago dictates to the rest of the state what we all have to do.

I don't know. I never voted in the sticks. They actually had paved roads leading to air conditioned buildings where they had electronic voting equipment inside. Telephones and all. In the city that was.

Also true in NY--to the effect that there have been arguments that NYC should be made a separate state.

In 8^TH grade (1976-1977, spent in Joisey), we were actually asked to analyse that with pros and cons.

Pros:

• the city has a larger population than many states (even than several of the western states COMBINED)***, NJ amongst these
• It has road transport links which don't connect to the rest of the state
• It has a completely different "culture" than the rest of the state
• There are also several COUNTRIES with less geographic area than NYC's boroughs
