Besides Detroit, which has a large democratic population, I'm surprise that Michigan has been a blue state. Will the primary incident with the delegates and votes have a toll on swinging the state red? I'm really not sure yet...

Wayne County votes for Democrats at something like 80-90%. Aside from Ann Arbor, the rest of the state is pretty conservative.

True... very true... Detroit is part of Wayne County for all those who do not know...

It's the same in Illinois. Cook country is very blue but the rest of the state is red. Take Chicago out of the state and it would be a solid blue. In effect, Chicago dictates to the rest of the state what we all have to do.

I can guarantee that SW Michigan will vote as it usually votes- Republican.

The rest of the state will follow population dynamics accordingly.
