Howdy to all,

I was just wondering is it possible for people filing CR1/IR1 to wait for more than 3 months to get an interview date in Kingston?

My two month date is coming up and still nothing.....I know tash 2months mark is probably today (dont remember). Marlita and Forbes is also waiting.

Can someone shed some light on what going on please. :blush:

I've seen it happen unfortunately. I told you...Kingston is getting as bad as many African countries. 4 months is their normal wait. I cannot beileve it should take that long, but who knows. I know people say that the embassy is packed when they go to interviews, but the actual process in about 30 minutes yet you're in there waiting for like 3 hours? Thats got inefficiency written all over it.

The embassy seems to now run on Jamaican time. Hurry up to sit and wait.

i waited 3 mths to get a date and the date was 1mth later..so it's really 4mths...so maybe u have 2 more to go

I really hope not after dealing with these people so long i really want to see the end of this

Hi Kishmar all I can say is to pls have patience.

I filed IR-1 application that was completed by NVC back in November 30, 07. Case transfered on February 4th, 08 to KNG Embassy. We didn't get interview date until March 18th. Medical was on March 5th rcv'd visa in hand on the March 26th board plane on April 5th.

Pls have patience

Dimps, I did not realize that you waited 4 months to get an interview scheduled???!!!. Well, what can we say now? :angry:

Man it seems that they are really far behind now cause April filers need a July date to be at 3 months and those look to be done already :angry: Is it now 4 months to get a stupid date? Wow, how is this possible?
