If SLEC found you having hiv or hepa b on the blood test, would they certainly give you another test on the 2nd day to verify the results? I have read on one of the experiences of a woman who felt very much shocked when her visa was disapproved that the only time she knew of having hepa b is when the consul told her the matter. She didn't mention about undergoing another test on the 2nd day on SLEC. Eager and confident to pass the interview only to hear the consul advicing her to get medical attention. I'm afraid to fall on the same situation. I have already completed the medical exam last june 12-13. I asked the woman in the releasing section counter E about the results of the med exam. She said that they will not divulge any results and that I may ask the consul. I left the SLEC with hanging question on my mind, did I passed? Can someone answer this?

hi there! i dont know if hepa b test was included in the blood exam. i only noted HIV and RPR tests..it was written on the bottom part of the barcode pasted on your blood samples. RPR is a test for syphlis. if you wanna know if you have hepatitis b, you may get a blod test..the test will be HBsAg (read as hepatitis b antigen). actually, i had the tests done, HIV and hepatitis b, prior to the actual medical exam at SLEC.

i hope this will help. goodluck!

My wife has a friend who had her interview last month and she has Hepa B and she knew this before she went for medical or interview. I really don't know all the details other than her K3 visa was granted and she will be traveling to the US in 2 weeks. A positive HIV test would be automatic visa denial.
