Thank you for your support and I have been lurking in these forums for a long time. I was really depressed but since the start of June VSC FINALLY started to approve K3's! So if you got your NOA1 in Jan/Feb hang in there, it will be approved soon!

What is next with both being approved at same time? Will this be processed as I130 or I129F?

06/24/07 - Met my wife through an online game

09/06/07 - Married in Shanghai, China

09/24/07 - I130 sent to VSC

01/07/08 - I130 NOA1 (3.5 months!)

01/08/08 - I129F sent to VSC

01/17/08 - I129F NOA1 received

02/24/08 - I129F touched

03/10/08 - I130 touched

05/01/08 - Wedding in Henan, China

06/15/08 - I130/I129F approved (5 months!)

Congrats to you and your SO and thanks for the info. It sure looks like VSC is working on petitions with NOA1 dates from the first half of January '08.

This sucks more than anything else has ever sucked before.

What I've seen lately is that VSC is forwarding both petition to NVC, meaning you have two horses in the race. If you want the K3 visa, just ignore the NVC correspondence regarding the I-130.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
