There must be serious reason why your friend was denied or put into AR. Don't stress too much, as long as your relationship with your fiance is genuine, relax and do not weary. emails, postmails, pictures, divorce documents (if applicable), et al., if all these things are in order and all set, you are fine.

Goodluck!!!!

I don't think the number of K visas refusals are high. Does anyone know what percentage are not granted approval?

He's luckier than me because he made more than I did and didn't have to send as much money. He's far above poverty level so I wouldn't worry about it unless he is supporting a family of ten and living in Alaska.

coz i heard its nine days for it to be notarized.. (is this true?)

I got mine notarized by a co-worker, it's easy to do.

Hi ganda,

You're alright. All you need to do is to arrange the papers in order.

1. Present an I.D and appointment letter to the guard

2. Prepare your DS157

3. Prepare your DS156 and DS 156K. Then they will give you a number and tell you to take a seat and wait for your number or else name to be called for finger scanning.

4. Take a seat. Wait for your number . It will appear in the board for pre-screening. There they will ask your birth certificate, CENOMAR, and NBI clearance. Then

5. They will ask your fiancees Affidavit of suppot , W2, etc...

6. They will ask your proof of relationship and then ask you about your fiancee

7. they will tell you to take a seat and wait for your number which will appear in the board for final interview with CO.

8. After the interview the C.O will tell you to take a seat and wait for your name to be called again for more instructions.

9. The moment your name be called they will give your proof evidence back to you and tell you to pay delbros deliver.

Hope this post will help VJers... God bless ganda..... :)

Blessings,

Pauljoy
