Does anyone from NYC know where the fireworks usually are? We're pondering going there for the 4th of july weekend but not sure yet where the best place to be would be.

They typically alternate from the Hudson River side to the East River Side. Depending what side they are having it on....you would best be taking a subway for your trip not driving as its nuts...LOL. Where are you staying? In the city or in NJ or upstate? Hope that helps....depends on what river and then you can pick loactions.

Just another crazy Monday at work. I try and finish 1 thing and get asked a million questions about other things. This is the one thing that sucks about being a trainer and content expert.

But other than that, I just counted and I'm leaving in 16 days and I haven't started packing yet. Ahhhhh

Finally, some quality vj time. Screw the cleaning. I'm gonna feed the demanding Princessa and then I am sitting down.

My work is just ridiculous lately. A salesman quit on Friday and now we are short-handed. You would think that they would be a little nicer to me but nooooooooooooooooo it is still obviously 'Pick on Jackie' month. grrrrrrr The latest new rule is: No vacation time in Sept, Oct, Nov. :| Dayum. I can't go to Jordan in August for many reasons. I didn't want to go in Sept (ramadan) I DID want to go in Oct. So today they tell me I can't go til middle of December. uh.......I don't think so. I can't imagine telling Ibrahim that it will be 6 months til I come. grrrrrrrrrrr This is what I see happening. I stay where I am for the summer and in Sept apply at a different place. When they hire me in mid Sept, I tell them I already have tickets for Oct 1, and that would be perfect. A vacation before starting a new job. I am doing very good handling all these big girl decisions.
