So we're about to get married in a couple of weeks(YEY!) and I was preparing the required paperwork for the Adjustment of Status... I'm following the suggested package list on this site(http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?autocom=custom&page=k1k3aos) but I couldn't find one of my NOA's and I am not sure which is which... the one I have says form I-797 on it and the one I lost was the plain one, I don't recall i saying anything different but it did have our case number for the embassy in the Philippines...

so my question is... is the I-797 that I have the NOA2 or not? oh yeah if I do need to file the I-824 does anyone know how long this would take? Thanks for your time and wisdom :)

The form I-797 is the one USCIS issue at the beginning of the petition, which is the NOA1.

The NOA2 is your approval letter telling your fiance that the petition was approved. Yes, you definitely will need it so take a good look around for it. You don't want to have to request a replacement copy - they are expensive.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Can't find it anywhere... I'm still looking for it, I'll probably request a copy today... anyone know how long this would take?

So I have another question... this is stupid, but I am a wreck and I can't think straight... I am going to requrest a copy of the NOA2, the form is I-824. and it says to inlcude a copy of the petition that I sent in, do I need to send them copies of the whole I-129F that I filled? Meaning, sending them the evidence of me and my fiancee' seeing each other within the last two years, copy of my passport and birth certificate, letter of intent from both of us and all that? or just the completed I-129F... please respond before tomorrow... I'm gonna send it in as soon as the post office opens... thanks
