how did ur wifes medical go..

nothing new with me.. husband will be gettin his second dose of one of the vaccines soon, and he will travel to chennai for medical around july 9th

i have excactly a month to leave

im sooooo excited!!! getting things ready for him here..

started packin the documents in my carry on cart, now i think its over weight!! :rofl:

6-3-08-cse cmplte.

6-11-08 case left NVC to chennai via DHL

7-28-08 interview- AP for 4-6 weeks (awaiting name chk clearance-told by chenai operator)

12-12-08 emailed chennai embassy asking status of our case, and got email to send passport..

Hyd, nice to know you are inching to reach your hubby :dance: So, getting much much closer day by day, huh :dance:

Fathima reached Chennai on 25th morning and went to the Lister Metropolis Lab for her X-ray and blood test. Also, she collected the report from the lab in the evening after 4PM. The report is in a sealed envelope to give to the physician. So, that part is over :dance:

Because of this, we pre-poned her Physician appointment 1 day early. So, instead of Friday, it is going to be tomorrow - 26th :dance:

Another good news is somebody from NVC walked to my home and hand-delivered my (petitioner) copy of Fathima's interview appointment letter. I am just kidding :rofl:

It actually reached by mail yesterday :dance:NVC printed it out on 05/28/2008, mailed it out on 06/06/2008 and I got it on 06/24/2008. what a speed :devil: I have scanned all 5 pages and emailed to her, so that she can take the print out from Chennai, though it is not necessary :dance::dance::dance:

So, guys - update your details :star: We're thrilled, we have another 8 more days for interview :dance::dance::dance:

i talked to my huby about IDP and even his siblingsgot that before leaving india and it did not work here, in my state, they had to apply for drivers license from that states.. so basuically no use here, he said he would just go straight to written and drive test after he gets here..

so we thought not to wory about that until he gets here..

We are planning to give NJ address (there is no road test) and get the license in NJ and transfer to CT or NY. We're moving to NY state from Oct 1, 2008 onwards...
