Hi everybody

Now we now that we need to file that affidavit of support the form I-864 with the AOS packet (Post Link), but my wife is still a college student and she does not have enough income to support me, and i know that if the main sponsor is not able to support we can have a joint sponsor or a co-sponsor, but every think is OK, we have a joint sponsor it's my father in law.

my question is which form to fill out along with the I-864 , is it the I-864A Contract Between Sponsor and Household Member ? or we need another form

PS : we live with my wife's parents

Thanks in advance

When part of the same household the joint sponsor fills out the I-864a.

Im also in this same situation.

I assume it would be OK for me to file the I-864 and my parents to file the I-864 AND I-864A just to be on the safe side?
