hello! wish you all good luck with your cases. My case was approved June12th. I am wondering when to call NVC to confirm interview date. Does the recording tell you or do I have to call and speak to a representative.

I would be thankful for any advise.

Thanks

You have to talk to the operator, or wait for your letter to arrive at your door. The AVR will only mention when your case is complete and when it has been forwarded to the embassy.

Ok thanks, i was asking since few people mentioned that we should call the NVC after 2 weeks of the case been completed to check for the interview date.

So i was just thinking do i have to wait two weeks or i can call now.

Well, coming from a person who called the NVC three times a day, I´d be calling already. It can´t hurt! But word is around the forum that the NVC only schedules interviews during the 2nd week of the month, so I´m not sure if you made the June cut or not. Like I said, doesn´t hurt to call!

Hi Ali,

They inform us that they only do interview schedules during the second week of each month, but that's not what we have been experienced so far. My case was completed on May 14 and I kept calling every week to get an interview date and they kept saying the same thing "call in the second week of June to find out yr date", but I kept calling and on May 30 I've got my interview date. And by other VJ member's posts mentioning the same situation with NVC, they could also get their interview dates all month long and not only in the second weeks. So, keep calling NVC every day!!!!!!
