Question about Medical

Hi, I have a question for a friend of my wife. Her and her husband recently got married in Peru. They sent in her paperwork for the K3. Now, they have found out that she is pregnant.

Now she is worried about the medical. Because she is pregnant, she will not be able to have any vaccinations or the x-ray for the medical.

She thinks that she will just need to cancel her petitions and file again after she has the baby. Due to the fact that she cannot do the complete medical.

I told her that I thought that I read that if there were certain things that you cannot have done, that the doctor would note that during the exam and give you an exemption, but it would not hold up the visa.

I know there has to be some people that have this same experience. Thanks for the help.

No....don't cancel......they make exemptions for pregnancy's and you won't need to take the x-rays or vaccinations......speak to the consulate case worker and the doctor who will do the medical first....don't cancel.

yeah.. there are exemptions that can be waived not just for pregnancy but that's a biggy Don't Cancel!!! have her talk to the docs and explain the situation.. they should know what to do.
