"Reform the Rebate: Stop Penalizing Law Abiding Spouses"

http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/reformtherebate?e

They have already amended the rule for those in the military with foreign spouses, now it's time for the government to do that for all citizens unfairly penalized for filing taxes with their foreign spouse and therefore losing elegibility for the stimulus check.

Just trying to muster the energy (and the money) to do this again.

Yeah, they told me the same thing but actually said "As it stands now..." I didn't feel comfortable with that....and why do we have to wait?

Is everyone getting stimulus payments next season or only the people who didn't get it this season?

Where have you been miss missy? I know your man is here, but mine isn't yet! Get back on VJ weekly til Bassi gets here, then I'll release your support services! :P

Haha! I have been coming daily but just cant stay on as long. I add when I can. My husband sometimes sits and reads the posts with me. He gets so disgusted when he reads about how some were scammed and feels hurt for the ones who are hurt. He only reads for like 5 min then says "ok, turn it off" haha he doesnt like to be on the net too much unless he is reading his email or reading soccer scores. We gotta get a sports package on our cable. there is no soccer games unless he watches the spanish channels :D

Tell me what you find out about the soccer channel. I've got to add one for Bassi too, because that's about all he watches besides movies and christian tv.

I miss you sweetie! Thanks for the drive by post. I'm leaving for Ghana on Saturday. Pray for my interview. I mean Bassi's interview. My mother has warned me to keep my american mouth shut! (apparently my aggression could swing the situation in the wrong direction? whudda thunk it?)

Are you talking about my husband? Those are the only two channels he ever watches. I'm so happy that your time has come. I wish you a safe flight on Saturday and I have a strong feeling that you two will be victorious in the end. Please run to a cafe and update us on the interview. Good luck to you two!

I know on Comcast they have a soccer channel, I think it's part of the basic package. Enjoy your trip, the weather, and the food. I can remember my ex telling me that the less I said during the interview the better......hehehehe. Hopefully you all will be first in line and everything will go smoothly.

Thank you hon! Say a prayer. I'm getting very excited. I'm all packed and trying to get the whole house cleaned and in order. I hope my baby is coming home with me!

Thanks. I have Time Warner Cable. We don't have Comcast up here. I think it's Comcast in the south, right? There's no soccer channel where I live. We don't have TV1 either. My mom tells me about that stuff. She lives in GA. Bassi isn't even here yet and he already knows he wants to move south. My mom has been putting a mojo on him cause she wants me closer.
