Hey, guys! Had to search this thread for a while. Where are you?? ;-)

Just wanted to share our joy: we got approved at the embassy yesterday!! It is hard to believe but they gave us no trouble whatsoever. They did not even want to see any proof of relationship! Nothing. My visa will come in the mail next week and I will go as soon as I can get a flight.

Some of you guys are probably already married?! Common' we want to see some honey-bunny pictures!! :-)

Congratulations Radz and Steve and all the others who have gotten approved/married, etc! To those still waiting: when it is all over, the wait will seem but a small dream, trust me!

Sorry I have been AWOL for a while...I have been in Uganda with my fiance for the past two months and was able to attend his interview in Nairobi on Jan 7th (lasted 1 min and was super easy!). After waiting an additional 3 hours we left the embassy--visa in hand!

Last week we flew from Entebbe to Boston and now we are in Georgia visiting my parents. Sometimes I look at my fiance and can't believe he is finally here--it is absolute heaven :star: :star: :star: :star: :innocent: :innocent: Now everything seems extremely easy and what seemed impossible is almost forgotten. I admit the waiting was torture--but none of that matters when you are finally together-- and it will happen!

We get married in Boston March 28th and are preparing for the big day, and I am doing my best to introduce Hiller to the United States. After a week here, he is doing really well--just being flexible and taking it all in. Basically he said that everything looks bigger, newer and brighter.

Tomorrow we are going to take him to visit the beach and see the ocean for the first time. Should be fun :)

Anyway, I will keep trying to check in. Thanks everyone for your support! I wish all of you the best of luck!!
