Just got a call from Radz she is finishing up at CFO so she will be ready to fly Wednesday. IM packing to meet her in San Fran.

Woohoo.. Finally after 199 days I received My NOA2 hard copy in mail...its on my hand...

Aproval Notice Valid from 01/06/2009 to 05/06/2009 ( My case is already in consulate n Interview on 20 January 2009)

Also my Non -Delivery of approval service request answer: (why there is delay in my NOA2)

On October 30, 2008 we approved your case Petition for Alien Relative. Due to some issues with out automated system, it appears your Approval Notice was never sent. We are sending your approval Notice under seperate cover and apologize for any incovenience this delay in delivery may have caused.

Noi is getting everything together to fly out of Bangkok tomorrow. The biggest problem seems to be winnowing down her luggage so she's not over the 20-kilo limit. I told her not to worry, that she could buy new clothes here. That made her feel better.

Shame she is not flying with American Airlines the service is terrible but the lugage allowance is great 2 cases 23 kg each and wait for this hand luggage of 18kg

I would have a nervous breakdown with 20kg even for a week ha ha

Well im in San Fran now Radz flys in Jan 14 so I will be waiting for her at the airport when she comes out of customs. IM so excited I flew half the day to get here, now im sitting in the Hotel room eating a In and Out burger, cant sleep even though i feel worn out. Well im sure Radz will be worn out to when she arrives so maybe we both can sleep then once we both get over the intial rush of being together. Wow cant believe this has finally came to be. Good Luck everyone I will keep you all posted.

Hey Steve sorry i missed you before you left. Gracey is on the way to the airport now with Radz so she will be super early with no chances of having airline problems. I talked to Radz before she left and she had the biggest grin on her face! We are so happy for you, you guys are the best. See you in Memphis soon!

Guys!!!!!

We just got an email from our congressman telling us we got approved today, January 8!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot tell you how happy we are. Sitting here crying and drinking champagne. There is still no end on the road but we probably made the hardest part!!!

I love you guys and thanks to everyone who prayed and supported us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations Panterchen!!! SUch good news I am so happy for you! We have our own good news.... we had our interview in Nairobi on Jan 7th and were APPROVED!! :dance: :dance: Besides waiting 4 and a half hours, and another 4 hours to get the visa the SAME DAY, the interview was so easy--lasted about one minute and all my fiance had to do was raise his right hand and swear he was telling the truth and tell the officer when he first met me. I was actually shocked at how easy it was. I was also able to walk right up with him to the counter for the interview. And they issued us his visa that same day!

So now, we are done with the stressing (well, when the wedding gets closer, I'll probably feel anxious!) and we're relaxing in Uganda until feb 20 when we fly back.
