I am so sad reading that panterchen maybe have to reset there wedding date if no Noa2 by end of Jan. I wish we all had a answer to get her and others in june waiting approved. The only thing I can think of now is praying even more for them. Only request i have is that panterchen please post some wedding photos here once you are married, I think that would be a special treat for all of us here to see that. Thanks in advance. Good Luck and maybe some mad smileys for noa2 :(:(:( that works for some a while back maybe there is some magic left. And this is for panterchen for aways being so pleasant even though I know she has to be stressed with this all (F)

unfortunately i am one of those late May early june filer who still haven't received NOA2. We might be in one same file case which has been ignored ever since late June and July. no RFE, no any touch since then. Jane&Keith might be one of those. good luck to all of us!!!

Thank you!! I will for sure post wedding pictures once we make it happen. Getting married is the biggest struggle in our so young relationship but I am sure it will be all worth it at the end. And I know we will get there one way or another. We would even move to India or China (not that that's any bad, just distnce wise) together if that's the only way to be together.

@Skeez: As far as I know it takes a few more weeks at the embassy in Great Britain to get an interview date set up. Hope you won't have any problems but I guess the prerequisite is our approval

@JeffMelody: Have you already received an answer from your congressman? Do you know if you got assigned to an officer yet? We got assigned mid November but haven't heard anything ever since and USCIS keeps telling us noone even looked at our case yet. Wonder what's going on.

I can't believe you are still waiting too. This is ridiculous. I am hoping for NOA 2 every day but then when I see people from April/May still waiting I think we might have to wait some more :crying:

I hope too that JaneKeith are somewhere close to our timelines. But I am sure they almost have to be. The two late april/ early May filers that got approved last week had to wait around 220 days. I hope we don't have to wait longer than that.

Another thing; the last USCIS update is from Sep 30 and said March 7. Shouldn't they now not already be working on clearing out early June filers?? Wonder what the next update will say. "working on January 2008"? :bonk:

You are probably right, Steve!!! I am just wondering. Right now whenever we call their excuse is that we shouldn't complain since they are working on March 7. And whenever we aks if they don't notice that this is 3 months ago, the become silent and stumble...IDIOTS

Just a little booster; another June filer got approved and updated just now. They had an RFE but still... Maybe hopefully if we are lucky I dare to wish that we will be next....hahahaha

I was planning on a March 21st wedding Pancherchen but im not having a big wedding. We were just going to do it by a poolside in my complex with a justice of the peace. But he had to meet my mother before hand before we got married that is something we both agreed upon since my mother lives in a different state than me i dont see her often and she wanted to meet him before we did. But if I have to put that on hold because I still didnt have my noa2 yet I will have to nothing I can do about it. I just want it all over and done with so I dont have to stress anymore. Not knowing is what is killing me. Stress level is high and being the holidays are coming up around the corner I hope things dont move any slower than they already are. Coming up on the 6 month mark this week. Hopefully I can call and talk to an actual person. If anyone knows the number to speak to someone directly let me know. Ty all and happy holidays.

Here's what Mike and I do and it always works:

-call uscis

-once the agent starts reading from the uscis website, cut him off and say : I'VE READ THAT ALREADY. PLEASE TRANSFER ME TO HIGHER LEVER SUPPORT NOW.

- if the agent refuses and tells you anything at all, don't let him speak, just say: I WANT TO TALK TO NEXT LEVEL SUPPORT, PLEASE.

- if agent is being stubbort, tell him: I DEMAND THAT YOU TRANSFER THIS CALL RIGHT NOW.

you have the right to be heard and to be informed. they will try (but really cannot ) refuse to transfer the call.

you can try doing this as often as you could each day. bug them!

i wish you all the best!

We got the same answer too. I think they don't actually transger you to a second level support but just another call center agent.

PRAISE GOD!

Kids and I finally passed the medical. It took 3 days (spread apart) for us, so you could just imagine the agony. Went through a lot of pain dealing with people who like to talk like they know it all, people who refuse to listen! We spent hours and hours just waiting, waiting, waiting. But none of these matter now. WE PASSED - that's all that matters, and I'm so happy!

Now we're getting a breather for the final hurdle - the Interview!

Radz was with us every step of the way. Thank you so much, Radz and Steve.

To everyone else, thanks for all your prayers and loving support. We return the blessing to you a thousandfold!

Hello June Filers -

My son is the filer. I've been helping him with this process. He was in Afghanistan for 4 months, and superbusy with work, placating his fiance <G>, etc.

I'm new here, so hope I can get the lingo correct.

The NOA1 was dated Feb 29. One of his forms was sent back because he hadn't signed it. It was sent back, although past the requested date. They received it June 19, and according to the website, "Current Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed."

I am assuming that they stopped work on his application until they received the form back, and realistically his case is now grouped with the June filers. He has not heard anything since then. According to the processing dates, they are about 6 1/2 months behind, so I am assuming that (hopefully) he hears something by the middle of January, working in extra days off for the holidays?

I'm nervous that his file has fallen behind some caseworkers desk. <G>

His fiance is a Romanian citizen legally living and working in London, and she's really getting antsy, as is my son!

Thanks, and congrats to all who have heard something from them!

Nancy
