I send back my Packet 3 checklist last night... and now we wait... should be another 2-3 months until we get an interview. I'm hoping for a late February interview but it could even be March or April... we shall see!

Keep posting your progress.

We are going through Montreal also, though it will be a little bit--she's got a few police clearances to get from Hong Kong, etc.--but it will be helpful to see how long it takes for you to get interview after they get your packet 3. I was thinking more like a month, not 2-3, but...whatever LoL Getting numb to the waiting at this point.

Well Packet 3 says 4-6 months for an interview, but the average for others going through Montreal is 2-3 months wait. There are many people who send back their packet 3 at the end of September still waiting for an interview right now. Montreal is pretty slow.

To Panterchen, Crazy and Mad, and to all this may concern,

Our timeline says: Your I-129f was approved in 172 days from your filing date.

-and we were barking up for our NOA2 since we reached out 120th day!

Mike's been analyzing timelines (lol he lives here) and he's convinced there's something about the 120th date... it's kinda like the maturity mark, and USCIS will have to touch the case.

I couldn't tell you to be patient because we never were. All I can say is keep trying, cuz you're almost there - especially if you're around your 150th day. Call your service center. It's ok to always call - these reps are all call center agents anyway, and there's tons of them. Once a day isn't enough. Keep calling and get level 2 support. Keep calling til you hear good news.

I should say this: if you are still waiting for NOA2, it's not yet time to bug the NVC. If they don't have your case yet, what can they do?

So again, call your particular USCIS center and get level 2 support.

I cheer you on!

~Gracey

I think we will try next week again. We are so pissed about this attitude. They don't fu***ing care about us people.

Yeah, we werethinking about this little white lie too, but we don't want to cause any problems. Not that the NVC then would call USCIS because of this problem or something...Oh well, hopefully until thanksgiving we hear something or at least the computer system works again... ;-)

Just wishing all the june filers left would get there NOA2, it seems a lot have been forwarded to NVC and the people dont know because there NOA2 was never mailed out and the website hasnt been updating correctly. Hope they get that fixed soon because its really fustrating to people.

Update on Radz and I. Yesterday Radz travelled to Davao and has paid the embassy fee and got the 157 validated. She first went to Bank of Phillipines Islands Mindanao Southern Main branch per the interview packet but it turns out they no longer do embassy validation or at least that is what Radz was told so she had to go to Bank de Oreo (the Oreo is incorrect but it did start with an O) and she was able to make the payment and got the DS 157 validated. One other thing the DS 157 that was dowloaded from the weblink provided on the Embassy site, they said at the bank was not hte current version and gave her new version which she filled up there and it was validated. So i guess the froms on the website may not be up to date, but of no matter because Radz did a great job and got everything all taken care of. I know they say you dont have to pay the Document verification fee anymore but we paid it any way. I would have to get all the way to the inteview and have visa held up because they started Docuement Verificaion back up and we hadnt paid. Besides its not very expensive and I looked at it as buy insurance for a few dollars. She did the text to Delbros and they verified the payment, that was done last week and it took a few hours but she did get verification a few hours after her first text. Dang I think maybe I have used up my quota of words for today all in one post. Good luck everyone Radz and Steve

~Gracey

I have also been analyzing timelines of all June filers and I can confirm what Mike said. Most people get approved between 120 and 150 days. Only 2 lay outside of the 150 though (with 154 and 151 days). So there is still some hope. ;-)

By yesterday I could see that among all June filers 70 got approved, 17 are still waiting and 9 I didn't know because they haven't been here for a while nor did post anything. Among those 17 waiting, there where 5 couples where could be inferred that they have approximately the same timeline as ours (very close, or even touched the same day).

However, I don't think that we can change things by keep calling them? Or do you know more, Mike&Gracey?

All they told us when we asked for why it is taking so long for us while we know others after us got approved then they just said "cases are processed on an individual basis. Your case is not outside the normal processing time which is March 7th and so there is no reason to worry or complain". I don't think they mark somewhere that you called or complained or are over a certain amount of waiting days.

However, we got a reply from our congress man with a letter from VSC 2 days ago (!) stating that the processing time right now is 6 months. I don't know why they changed it last night but maybe there where just too many people freaking out also because of the trouble with the computer system (like us).

We won't give up hope that it'll come soon. Once we hit 6 months we really need to figure out what to do.

I am just happy to know that once I have NOA 2 it will only take me about 6 weeks to get the interview. And that is still better than in most other countries I have seen.

May everything go smoothley for all of us!!!

Me again! Maybe there are some more that are still not approved;

Dan called NVC and USCIS again today. We are still not approved that is sure. However, we were more lucky and they were nicer this time.

This lady now said that once we hit 180 (6 months) they can do more for us. She didn't say what specifically but it seems as they are still claiming a 6 months process time and not 9 or more (like their update says).
