June 2008 Filers!

well I just got off the phone with the USCIS....after attempting once last week and twice today....I finally got someone who would transfer me to the next level of support. The officer told me that our case was still pending (duh) and that these could take up to 9 months so now all we do is wait....easy for him to say...ahhhhhhhhhh. Okay sorry. I guess I feel a little better after talking to someone who knows what they are talking about and being reassured that there is nothing wrong with our case. Just praying we hear some answers sooon! (And they go back and get those beginning of June files)

Congrats to everyone who has gotten great news and moving along to the next stage!

9 months???

ummmm yeah...apparently the 6 months is a joke (and it also says as of Aug 31). So everytime I have called they say they are still working on files with dates in March.

we keep trying to call USCIS but they don't want to transfer us to a 2nd level supervisor. How can we get there? They say they won't transfer us as long as we are not outside of the normal processing time...How can we get through??

I don't know...The first level lady said they have had problems with their computer system and that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Right now it does and it shows our application is still pending...Hmm...Maybe that's true. But could it be that she doesn't have the same info like the 2nd level even if the system is running??? And of course, she told us they are working on March filers. Yeah right.

The only thing I know to tell you to do is keep trying....and hope you get someone nice that will transfer you through. I talked to 3 different people before I finally got someone who would send me through. And I only asked to be transfered to the next level of support and she said okay. Good Luck!

Well I think that they are telling the truth about the computer system as I just went on to check and our case still says pending and we have had our NOA2 and the letter from NVC......................

So I just went online to check if we are now approved on the USCIS site for you and it still states pending last touch 3rd November

To them we are just case numbers not real people waiting for them to play god with our lives............free world.........yeah right

Jeez it just does not seem fare.................we were all happy when we first filed with Vemont as it was so much quicker that California then Vermont slowed up dramatically.................at least with California they seem to process in date order

My heart goes out to all of you guys who are still waiting

Thank you guys!! We are sitting here crying. I know we cannot expect to be approved at any specific date but we are just hoping it soo much every single day. I am blessed that he can be with me right now but this waiting is sucking out our joy.

Thank you guys for being here, I don't know what we would do without you!

I filled for K-1 on June 18th, and was last touched on July 10th...

USCIS website shows received and pending...I even tried calling them but no help...

But I did call NVC and gave them my Receipt Number and they told me that they received my case last week and i was approved. They also gave me my NVC case#

So, all the people that haven't received NOA2, i would suggest you call NVC and ask them they received anything...all you need is your receipt #

Just think that you are together waiting and helping eachother through this hard time, when I was stressing crying myself to sleep at night I would have done anything for a hug from my boy

Just think how great it will be to be together when you receive it, and you can celebrate, it will be so much sweeter than being on your own, it does take some of the happiness away when you reach such a milestone and you are away from your love

Dont let this spoil your time together

It will come hopefully sooner than you think, the only way I got through it ,was to stop checking all the time and be dissapointed and just check it twice a day.

I will keep my fingers crossed for you

congradulations Madwoman yeppit glad to hear you got approved. Its a shame everyone having to call to find out tho. They need to fix the system. Will im sure your excited and over joyed now.

Oh we got letter from NVC today saying case was forwarded to embassy. Just like they told me on the phone Nov 7.

oh by the way the web address in the letter from NVC is not the correct address for the website you need to go to;

Then select you embassy code and it will take you to the instructions link.
