Hi everyone! Congratulations to Mike & Gracey and others!

Just back from a three day trip to NYC....and still no touches (although I've given up on that) or anything in the mail. Well, right now VSC seems like a joke...computers are screwed, documents going missing in the mail, mystery attorneys assigned to cases...I almost feel sorry for them!

Does anyone know if the USCIS automated phone system is accurate? I've been calling them for updates and..nothing. But if the phone system is connected to the web system, then.... :bonk:

Let's hope they get their act together next week!!! Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi, Crazy and Mad.

Like you, we don't have the NOA2 yet. Now it's the weekend, and we Mike will have to stare at his mailbox again on Monday...

I don't know if this is just a simple mailing delay. I hope it's not lost.

But for the NVC to say that we they have our case, and after giving us our new case number, THAT is a sure thing! THAT is what makes me dance right now.:dancing:

I agree with you... let's give it 2 or 3 days more .... but add 2 more cuz of the weekend! arrrgghhh!

Good luck to all of us!

~gracey

.....he's sooo handsome! :luv:

:secret: Last night, when Mike was informed by VCS level2 support that our we got our NOA2, I was very happy but still quite skeptical.

We waited and waited :clock: for the hardcopy to land in Mike's mailbox all day but it never did  , not even today (tonight for me). :dead:

BUT....

Tonight (today for Mike), my very handsome hunny  called NVC and he was told that OUR CASE WAS RECEIVED BY NVC 13 NOVEMBER! :D

Now I am really jumping! We don't have the mail yet, but NVC giving us our MANILA CASE NUMBER verifies it.

WE INDEED HAVE GOTTEN APPROVED!!!

After all the very painful delays that we've had.... after all the ranting.... how wonderful it is to finally share some good news. Now it's our turn to give hope to those who are still in the waiting. -_- Heads up! BE BLESSED, all of you! :innocent:

xoxo,

Gracey

Hii mikelovesgracey........

I have NOT my NOA2 yet....but got NVC later stated with Case number & also my file is forwarded to "appropriate Consulate "..

I had last touch on 10/31/2008 and I think its approved on that day but no NOA2 its today 11/14/2008 it going to be 2 week!!....

you, me & Pilotio..(his linkbelow) are same....Lets wait 2-3 days more..Let me know as soon as u get your NOA2..I will keep u update with mine too..Good luck to all..

WHATTT????? Couldn't you argue that you DON'T have an atty????

Mike & Gracey will appreciate this LoL

I found out a few days back that there was an attorney noted on my case!!! I've never hired an attorney at any point of this. So NVC tells me they are done with the case, and I have to deal with Montreal. OK, so I go to call them to get the name taken off my case.

Montreal accepts no phone calls!! Lovely...

So I email them that the attorney needs to be removed from my case, since I never had one, and I wanted to check that the Packet 3 was still coming to my fiancee... So I wait a couple of days, and finally get an email back from them. They say nothing about correcting the error, but they do send a nice little message...

Good afternoon

A package of documents was sent out to your attorney on November 6th

IV Montreal

O...M...G....

So now I'm calling the attorney and emailing him to see if his office has received these things, and see if he'll send them to me. Also trying to get Montreal to do its thing and send a new packet out to her. Also wondering if either of these things can be done before the end of the year...

Just when you think you're over the hump... LoLoLoL

WHATTT????? Couldn't you argue that you DON'T have an atty????

Yea, you'd think that, and I have. The problem here is that my case is now with the consulate, so I have to deal with them. I have emailed them about the problem, and hopefully they will fix it. In the meantime, I hope that attorney will cooperate with me in getting me those materials, so that I don't lose a lot of time.

I don't want to get to pushy with the staff at the consulate. It wasn't their mistake...must have been CIS or NVC...and I have to interview there hehe  , so I don't want to cause too much of a stink. Just want to kindly request that the error be corrected so that materials go to us, and not some attorney. :innocent:

Just would be so much easier if I could talk to someone on the phone. Email is OK, but you never know when someone is going to handle it, and when they are going to get around to telling you about it.

Ahh well...always something, but it will get handled.

Hey girl, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! ^_^

It's such a torment to be away from our beloved, isn't it? Good thing we have good ol' internet.

Mike says we are so abusive to our laptops - we treat them like servers, open and running 24/7! :content:

But, as you say, we will be with them in a few months - or weeks, even. Then we can all give our computers a break.
