June 2008 Filers!

I have NOT my NOA2 yet....

but got NVC later stated with Case number & also my file is forwarded to "appropriate Consulate "..

Help..I had last touch on 10/31/2008 and I think its approved on that day but no NOA2 its today 11/13/2008 it going to be 2 week!!....

What do i do now?

Any one who approved on 10/31/2008 got there NOA2???

If you got NVC letter your petiton has to have been approved but maybe Noa2 got lost in mail or they forgot to send it, I would call USCIS and explain that you have not recieved your NOA2 and they should be able to send you another one

I just called USCIS and they said the approval was mailed on 11-10-08. This is after I just called yesterday to check so apparently it takes a couple of days for it to update. We are so very happy, can't wait to get the hard copy in our hands. Thank you all so much for your kind loving support and we hope you all get your approvals very soon!!!

Our month was a pretty quiet group, up until VSC started working near us, and we were getting close to our estimated dates. We seemed to be more patient and resigned to the process.

That all changed when VSC got a few and then took a few weeks off. We made up some time with the screaming and ranting, but, yea, we are still a little light in the post count.

CRIS System Scheduled Outage

November 13, 2008 - The CRIS System will be unavailable from 9:30 PM EST, Thursday November 13 until about 1:30 AM EST, Friday November 14 for maintenance. The CRIS System includes Case Status Online, Change of Address Online, Civil Surgeon Locator and Field Office Locator.

Oh you guys are the greatest! Mike and I really really really appreciate you all. Without your support, we would have gone wacko with the painful waiting. We're so blessed to have found this site. Why we practically live here! lol!

Ever thought of other filers who are not in support groups such as VJ? ...like those who do not have computer/internet access? Must be horrible to just wait wait wait, and have no idea when to expect what. It is such a wonderful consolation to be in this family.

Last night, when Mike was informed by VCS level2 support that our we got our NOA2, I was very happy but still quite skeptical.

We waited and waited for the hardcopy to land in Mike's mailbox all day but it never did , not even today (tonight for me).

BUT....

Tonight (today for Mike), my very handsome hunny called NVC and he was told that OUR CASE WAS RECEIVED BY NVC 13 NOVEMBER!

Now I am really jumping! We don't have the mail yet, but NVC giving us our MANILA CASE NUMBER verifies it. :dance:

WE INDEED HAVE GOTTEN APPROVED!!! :dance:

After all the very painful delays that we've had.... after all the ranting.... how wonderful it is to finally share some good news. Now it's our turn to give hope to those who are still in the waiting. Heads up! BE BLESSED, all of you!

We have our noa2 but no notice of being sent.................

Told my boy to call, but has he..........NO..........he leaves everything up to me LOL

Well I have decided to wait till the end of next week to call

Congradulations Dels thats great news, I never got a email notificiation but did update on the site and i got hardcopy of noa2 a week later. Well now its time to fill up the packets and get ready for interviews. Good luck

I found out a few days back that there was an attorney noted on my case!!! I've never hired an attorney at any point of this. So NVC tells me they are done with the case, and I have to deal with Montreal. OK, so I go to call them to get the name taken off my case.

Montreal accepts no phone calls!! Lovely...

So I email them that the attorney needs to be removed from my case, since I never had one, and I wanted to check that the Packet 3 was still coming to my fiancee... So I wait a couple of days, and finally get an email back from them. They say nothing about correcting the error, but they do send a nice little message...
